Niseko

Niseko is the most famous skiing destination in Japan, a cluster of linked resorts on the flanks of Mount Annupuri in western Hokkaido, looking across to the perfect volcanic cone of Mount Yotei. It owes its international reputation to its snow, exceptionally deep and light powder drawn from storms sweeping in off the Sea of Japan, which has made it a byword for the finest powder skiing in Asia.
