Pick your powder week, then a base in Niseko, and we will match you with a private chalet in Hokkaido.
Niseko is famous for one thing above all, and that is snow. Light, dry powder falls here through the heart of winter, and skiers travel from all over the world to ride it.
Picture a morning in January. Fresh snow has fallen overnight, the sky is clearing, and the perfect cone of Mount Yōtei stands across the valley as you clip into your skis. That evening, you soak in a steaming onsen, then sit down to fresh Hokkaido seafood and a bowl of ramen.
A chalet gives you a warm base for all of it. There is space to dry your gear, a kitchen for early breakfasts and a living room for recovering after a big day. Our luxury chalet rentals Japan sleep from 6 to 18 guests, so families and groups of friends can all stay together.
We have three chalets in the Niseko area. Two are in Niseko-Hirafu, which sits in the town of Kutchan, and one is in Niseko itself, close to the Annupuri slopes.

Niseko-Hirafu is the busiest village, with restaurants, bars and lifts right in town. Niseko and the Annupuri side feel quieter and more relaxed. The ski areas are linked by the Niseko United lift pass, so you can explore the whole mountain. Our homes include Chalet Yōtei in Hirafu and Chalet Annupuri in Niseko, each with seven bedrooms.
The Niseko United lifts are scheduled to run from 28 November 2026 to 5 May 2027, though dates depend on the snow. For the most reliable powder, come from January to February. Late December is busy over the holidays, and March brings sunnier days with softer snow, which suits families and newer skiers.

January and February are the most dependable months for deep, dry powder. Snow often falls almost every day in this period. Late December can also be very good, though it is busy over the holidays. If fresh snow is the main reason for the trip, book for mid January to mid February and plan to ski early each morning.
Hirafu suits groups who want restaurants, bars and après ski on the doorstep. Niseko and the Annupuri side are quieter and better for families who like calm evenings. Because the lift pass covers the linked ski areas, you can ski the whole mountain from either base. Tell us your style and we will suggest the better choice.
Services vary by chalet, and each property page lists what is included. Some come with housekeeping, and our team can often arrange a private chef, airport transfers or ski lessons on request. Mention what matters to your group in your enquiry, and we will confirm the details for your dates.
Tell us your dates and your group, and we will match you with a chalet close to the powder.
