Miami Beach is a barrier island facing the Atlantic, separated from the mainland by Biscayne Bay and joined to downtown Miami by a handful of causeways. The homes in our Miami Beach collection are almost all on the water, but on the bay side rather than the ocean: the man made Venetian and Sunset Islands, the gated enclaves of Star and Hibiscus Island, and the residential bayfront streets of North Bay Road, Biscayne Point and Normandy Shores. That geography is the point. A walled garden, a heated pool and a private dock sit ten minutes from the Art Deco streets of South Beach and the restaurants of Sunset Harbour.
These are villas and estates rather than condominiums, with between four and eight bedrooms, and they are built for groups who want to be together without living on top of one another. Most have a chef grade kitchen, outdoor dining under cover, and a garage for the car you will barely use. Several have deep water docks for a yacht or day boat, and the bay itself is calm enough for paddleboards in the morning.

When To Come
Miami Beach has a clear high season and a quieter, warmer one. Both have their case.
December to April, the dry season. Warm, sunny days and low humidity. This is the high season for the calendar as much as the weather: Art Basel in early December, the boat show in February, and the spring music festivals. Homes book earliest for these weeks.
May to November, the warm season. Hotter and more humid with afternoon storms, but the ocean is at its warmest and the beaches and restaurants are noticeably quieter. Hurricane season runs June to November and is worth keeping in view when you plan.
Event weeks. For Art Basel, the boat show and the Grand Prix, an island villa keeps a group together with a pool to come back to, and the causeways make the fairgrounds and downtown a short drive. Ask us early; these dates go first.
