Pick a month, then an island or a heel of the boot, and we will match you with a private villa in Italy.

Each number on the map shows a region where we have homes. Tap one to see what is there.
Italy rewards people who slow down. That is easier to do from a house with a terrace than from a hotel room with a view of the car park.
Picture June in Sardinia. The water is already around 22°C, the beach is half empty, and you are eating bottarga pasta under a pergola before a long afternoon nap. Then picture early October in Puglia. The heat has eased, the olive harvest is close, and dinner is in a stone courtyard with the whole family around one table.
A private home makes that kind of holiday simple. You shop at the market in the morning, swim at noon and eat when you are hungry. With room for 6 to 20 guests, our homes fit a couple of families or a big birthday group.
Our luxury villa rentals Italy collection sits in two places. Most homes are on Sardinia, an island of granite coves and clear sea. One is a castle in Puglia, down in the south of the mainland.

Region 1 of 2
Sardinia is the place for people who live in the water. The northeast coast, around the Costa Smeralda, is known for its harbours, yachts and smart restaurants, while other stretches of shore stay surprisingly wild. Offshore lies the La Maddalena archipelago, perfect for a day on a boat. June and September are the sweet spots, with warm sea and fewer people, and July and August are the busiest weeks. Families, groups of friends and sailors all feel at home here. If you have been searching for luxury villa rentals Sardinia, our nine homes include Villa Gallura, a four-bedroom house for easy coastal days.
Granite coves, clear water and boat days among the islands, with the Costa Smeralda harbours never far away.

Region 2 of 2
Puglia feels different from the rest of Italy. It is flat and sunny, with dry stone walls, olive groves and whitewashed towns. Our home here is Castello Adriatico, a nine-bedroom castle in Leverano, inland in the Salento peninsula. Brindisi airport is roughly an hour’s drive away. Lecce, the region’s baroque city, is close for an evening walk and a gelato. Come in May, June, September or early October for warm days without the August crowds. It suits large families and groups who love food, wine and long evenings.

Sardinia is a summer island. June and September give you the best balance of warm sea, sunny days and calmer beaches. July and August are hot and dry and the busiest weeks of the year, so book early if you need them. Autumn often stays warm enough for swimming.
Puglia works over a longer season. June, July and September are lovely, and May and early October are quieter, warm enough for the beach on good days and ideal for exploring towns and farms.
Avoid mid-August if crowds bother you. The Ferragosto holiday falls on 15 August, and much of Italy heads to the sea.

The Costa Smeralda is the glamorous corner, with yachts, designer shops and lively summer nights around Porto Cervo. The rest of the island is quieter and often wilder, with long beaches and small towns. If you want dinners out and a social scene, aim northeast. If you want empty coves and space, ask us about homes elsewhere.
For northeast Sardinia, most guests fly into Olbia, which is about 30 to 45 minutes by car from Porto Cervo. Other homes may be closer to Cagliari or Alghero, and we will tell you which airport is best. For our castle in Puglia, Brindisi is the nearest airport, roughly an hour by road. A rental car makes both regions much easier to enjoy.
Yes, and in Sardinia it is almost a must. A private boat can take you to the islands of the La Maddalena archipelago or to coves that you cannot reach by road. Days on the water depend on the wind, so keep a spare day in your plans. Our team can help you book a skipper once you have confirmed your villa.
Services vary by home. Some include regular cleaning, and our team can often arrange a private chef, a cook for a special dinner or a driver on request. Each property page lists what comes with the stay. Tell us what matters to your group and we will confirm exactly what is possible for your dates.
Most of them are. Large terraces, private pools and room to spread out make them easy for children and grandparents alike. Castello Adriatico is a great choice for big family gatherings, with nine bedrooms. Tell us the ages of your children and anything you need, such as pool fencing or cots, and we will match you to the right home.
Share your dates, your group size and the kind of days you picture, and we will send you villas that fit.
