Pick the dry winter months, gather a big group, and we will help you plan a stay at our private lodge in Eswatini.
Eswatini is one of Africa’s smallest countries, and one of its friendliest. It packs mountains, bushveld and rich traditions into a space you can cross by road in an afternoon.
Picture a morning in July. The air is cool and dry, the grass is short and golden, and a white rhino moves slowly across the plain on an early game drive. Back at the lodge, breakfast is waiting, and the whole group gathers to compare sightings before a lazy afternoon.
A private lodge is perfect for a large party. Three generations of one family, a milestone birthday, a reunion of old friends. Our luxury safari lodge Eswatini sleeps up to 30 guests, so everyone can stay under one roof and share the experience together.
The country was officially renamed Eswatini in 2018, and you may still see the older name, Swaziland, on maps and signs. Our lodge sits in the Lubombo region in the east, where the land drops toward the lowveld bush.

Our home here is Réserve Privée Langa, with fifteen bedrooms and space for up to 30 guests. It is built for big groups who want privacy, comfort and nature close by. The Lubombo region is also home to Hlane Royal National Park, known for lions, elephants and white rhino.
Eastern bushveld for game drives in the dry winter, with Hlane Royal National Park’s lions and rhino nearby.
The dry winter months, roughly May to September, are the best time for game viewing. The vegetation thins, and animals gather around water, so sightings are easier. Days are usually sunny and pleasant, but early mornings and evenings can be chilly, so pack warm layers for game drives.

Eswatini offers a more personal, less crowded safari than many bigger destinations. You can see rhino, elephants and lions, and also enjoy the country’s culture, crafts and mountain scenery. It also combines well with time in South Africa. For big groups, a private lodge makes it easy to enjoy all of this together.
The dry season from about May to September is usually best. With less water around, animals gather near rivers and waterholes, and thinner bush makes them easier to spot. The summer months bring green landscapes and more birds, but higher grass can make wildlife harder to see. Pack warm layers for early winter drives.
Yes, that is what it does best. Réserve Privée Langa has fifteen bedrooms and room for up to 30 guests, which makes it ideal for family reunions, celebrations and groups of friends. Tell us about your group, and our team will help you plan the rooms, meals and activities for your stay.
