Pick your summer dates, then a side of Mykonos, and we will match you with a private villa that suits your group.

Our Greek homes are all on Mykonos. Each number on the map marks an area, so tap one to see the villas there.
Mykonos has a reputation, and some of it is true. There are beach clubs that run until sunrise. There are also whitewashed lanes at seven in the morning, when the only people about are the bakers and the cats.
Imagine June. The sea has warmed up, the town is lively but not packed, and you are eating grilled octopus as the sun drops behind the windmills. Now try late September. The light turns gold, the beaches empty out, and the water is still warm enough for a long swim.
A villa lets you pick which Mykonos you get. Nobody tells you when breakfast ends. Your group can sleep late after a big night, or wake early for a boat to Delos. With 8 to 16 guests per home, everyone has a room, and the terrace becomes the place where the day starts and finishes.
Anyone looking at luxury villa rentals Mykonos soon learns the island is small. Most homes are a short drive from Mykonos Town, and ours split into two groups: the west coast around Tourlos, and the rest of the island.
All of our homes in Greece are on Mykonos. For every villa and our full island guide, see our Mykonos villa rentals page.

Area 1 of 2
Tourlos is a hillside just north of Mykonos Town, above the new port where the big ferries and cruise ships dock. Living on this side means two things. Getting to and from the boats is quick, and the evenings face west, so sunset is part of dinner. The town, Little Venice and the windmills are a short drive away. This area suits groups who want to be near the action without sleeping in it. We have 11 villas in Tourlos and along the west coast, and many have long pools looking out toward the sea and the neighbouring islands.
Close to the new port and Mykonos Town, with terraces that face the sunset over the neighbouring islands.

Area 2 of 2
Our other seven homes are spread across the island, away from the port. Here the pace slows down. Think dry stone walls, small chapels, and lanes that lead down to coves you will share with very few others. These villas suit families and friends who want calm first and nightlife second, though nowhere on Mykonos is far from a good dinner. One of them, Villa Delion, sits above a small sandy bay with a long infinity pool. Ask us which beach is closest to each home, and we will tell you exactly where it sits.
Quiet hillsides, white chapels and small coves, still only a short drive from the island’s best tables.
The island’s season runs roughly from May to October. Outside those months, many restaurants and beach clubs close.
July and August are the peak. The nightlife is at full volume and the island is at its busiest. This is also when the meltemi, the strong northerly summer wind, blows hardest. It cools you down, but it can make north-facing beaches rough and delay ferries.
Late May, June and September are what we would choose. The sea is warm, everything is open, and you can get a table without planning days ahead.

late May to early October, avoiding August if you want quiet

For nightlife, stay within easy reach of Mykonos Town and the south coast beach clubs. Tourlos works well, because the town is close but your villa stays calm. For quiet, look at homes away from the port and the busy beaches. Tell us the mood of your group, and we will point you to the right villas.
It depends on the wind. When the meltemi blows from the north, the south coast is more sheltered, and beaches like Ornos, Psarou and Platis Gialos tend to be calmer. On still days, the whole island opens up. Your villa team can suggest the best beach for the conditions each morning, which is easier than guessing from a map.
Yes, and it is one of the best days of the trip. Many guests take a private boat to swim in coves that are hard to reach by road, and boats also go across to Delos, the ancient sacred island next door. Boat trips depend on the wind, so keep a spare day in your plans. Let us know and we can help you arrange it.
Services vary from villa to villa. Many include daily housekeeping, and our team can often arrange a private chef, a driver or someone to stock the fridge before you arrive. Each property page lists what is included. Tell us what you would like when you enquire and we will confirm it for your dates.
You can fly or take a ferry. The flight from Athens is short, at around 40 minutes in the air. Fast ferries from Piraeus or Rafina take roughly two and a half hours, while the slower boats take longer. In July and August, strong winds can delay ferries, so leave some breathing room before any onward flight.
Tell us your dates, the size of your group and whether you want parties or peace. We will find the villa.
