Villa Leucothea

The water off the rocks at Villa Leucothea is so clear you can count the stones on the bottom. That's the first thing most people notice. The second is the house itself, a big white estate with a round tower that looks, from above, like a little Cycladic village all on its own.

Life here mostly happens outside. An old olive tree throws shade over a terrace of armchairs right above the sea. There's a small round pool tucked into a whitewashed corner, and then the main infinity pool, which runs straight out toward the horizon. If you want to stay in shape, there's a gym too. For anyone after a luxury villa rental in Mykonos with real space, this one delivers.

Villa Leucothea sleeps sixteen guests in eight bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom, eight in all. The rooms are white and pale blue with blue window frames and island art on the walls. One bathroom has a sculpted white tub beneath a ceiling dotted with stars.

Indoors, blue shutters and doors set off the white walls. Curved sofas gather on a striped rug in the living room, while the dining table sits under twin arches that frame the sea and the islands. You get two kitchens, one in warm timber and one built around a steel range. Tourlos is close to Mykonos town and the port, so beaches and restaurants are a short trip away. Big families and groups will love it, and it's a natural choice for a celebration in Greece.
