Villa Papaye is a row of white gabled cottages strung along a long timber deck in Saint-Jean. Mature trees and rocky green slopes surround it, and the valley runs down toward a bay. The cottages have steep gable roofs in a Caribbean style. Stone walls and slatted wood screens connect them, and a set of stairs leads down through a planted stone passage.
