Villa Selene

Villa Selene is small, bold and full of personality. Built of island stone and smooth white plaster, it has a long, narrow pool running between stone walls toward the view of the bay and the dry hills of Mykonos.

Inside, the design is sculptural and playful. White surfaces flow from floor to built-in seating, a clear bubble chair hangs by a long picture window, and a grey sofa sits beneath a dramatic black jellyfish mural. Meals are taken at rustic timber tables, one in the living space and one in a kitchen with a bare stone wall. As a luxury villa rental in Mykonos for a couple or two, it's genuinely different.

Villa Selene has two bedrooms. One pairs a white platform bed with a dark feature wall and copper pendants; the other feels almost like a cave, with soft light glowing from pebble-shaped niches above the bed.

The terraces are bright and minimal, with white sculptural loungers on smooth white floors, and the pool is lit at night. Tourlos sits close to Mykonos town and the new port, so it's easy to head out for dinner or a beach day and then retreat to calm.
