Villa Ambar

Villa Ambar is a two-story villa set within the Hacienda section of Puntacana Resort and Club in Punta Cana, presenting a clean modern white facade from the street with tall royal palms along the front boundary and a gravel motor court. The rear of the house faces a long rectangular pool at lawn level, with a covered outdoor bar and dining area off to one side, and a broad flat grass garden extending toward the fairway beyond. The outdoor entertaining area is built for large groups. An open-sided covered terrace has a warm-toned wood-plank ceiling with recessed lighting and a ceiling fan, enclosing a long white dining table with colorful woven bistro-style chairs, and a bar counter with a dark granite surface, mosaic-tiled front, and three rattan barstools. The pool terrace beyond is finished in travertine with white sun loungers.

The main living and dining room occupies the center of the ground floor under a steeply vaulted warm wood ceiling with a large rattan pendant at the peak. The dining table is a rectangular glass-top on a stone pedestal base surrounded by eight high-backed wood chairs. The sitting area has a wide cream sofa, two upholstered chairs, a glass-top coffee table, and a large circular chrome-framed wall sculpture. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls on the garden side keep the room connected to the outdoor terrace.

Bedrooms on the upper floor have vaulted ceilings with sloped wood panels and ceiling fans, blue-gray upholstered headboards, white linens, and sliding glass doors to private balconies. The primary bathroom has a Jacuzzi soaking tub positioned in front of a full-height bookmatched slab of veined dark marble, a wall-mounted teak vanity with double integrated sinks, and integrated lighting.
