Villa Anacaona

Villa Anacaona sits directly on a private natural cove in Punta Cana, with a white sand beach at the waterline and a turquoise enclosed bay stretching out in front. The building is multi-level modern white concrete rising above the shoreline, with an infinity pool on the upper terrace and a glass-and-cable railing that keeps the water view open from the pool deck. Kayaks are stored on the beach below. Eleven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, sleeps twenty-six, and is available to book through The Luxury Rental.

The pool terrace sits at the upper level with two chaise lounges facing the cove and the limestone rock formations that shelter the bay on both sides. The water inside the cove is calm and shallow, fed by the open Caribbean beyond. From the terrace the view runs straight down to the private beach and across to a small natural island visible in the distance.

The interior design takes its name seriously. The primary suite has a headboard wall built from carved, ornate terracotta-wood fretwork framing a painted floral mural on plaster behind the platform bed. Cream coral-stone block walls flank the headboard on either side, each with a built-in vertical niche and directional sconce lighting. A carved wood relief panel depicting Egyptian figures hangs on the adjacent wall. Travertine stone tile covers the floors throughout.

A second large suite occupies its own wing with a different design register. A black geometric laser-cut perforated panel fills a coffered ceiling recess above the king platform bed. Teal silk drapes hang floor to ceiling on every window and sliding door. Laser-cut geometric wood inserts fill the fixed upper window panels, casting patterned light across the room. A separate seating area has a taupe sofa and square coffee table, and a dark credenza with a flat-screen television stands opposite the bed.

The kitchen is built to commercial scale. A large black granite island sits at the center. A six-burner stainless range with a full hood occupies one wall beside a stainless double sink and full-height stainless refrigerator. A white marble slab backsplash runs behind the appliances. A walk-in pantry opens to one side, and a wave-textured white wall panel finishes the far end of the room.

Villa Anacaona is in Punta Cana at the edge of Cap Cana, directly on the water with a sheltered cove beach and no neighboring structures on the waterline. Housekeeping, a private chef, a butler, a bartender, and a platinum concierge are included with every stay. Eleven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, sleeps twenty-six. Large groups requiring beachfront access, a private chef operation, and a property that functions at the scale of a small resort will find Villa Anacaona in a separate category from standard villa rentals.
