Villa Estrella

Villa Estrella is a large multi-structure compound set on a landscaped lot within the Tortuga Bay neighborhood of Puntacana Resort and Club in Punta Cana. The facade is a two-story building with a thatched roof over each section, dark mahogany-framed windows, and full balconies on the upper level, approached via a wide hardwood-plank pathway cutting through a manicured green lawn lined with royal palms. Seven bedrooms, six-plus bathrooms, sleeps fourteen, and is available to book through The Luxury Rental.

The pool area is the visual center of the grounds. A large rectangular pool is lined with deep blue mosaic tiles and bordered by a wide hardwood deck. Multiple rattan sun loungers with white cushions and two white cantilever umbrellas are arranged along one side, with a rattan pod chair positioned at the deck edge. A separate thatched palapa rancho stands at one end of the pool and holds additional outdoor lounge seating.

The villa is organized across several connected wings, giving each bedroom a degree of privacy and its own character. One suite has a large woven rattan headboard mounted to a wall of bamboo-lined paneling, ivory linens, a teak bench at the foot, and double French doors opening to a private balcony fitted with an egg-swing chair. Another suite has a four-poster blond wood canopy bed with blue buffalo-check bedding, a painted artwork over the headboard, and dark wood louvered wardrobes. An upper wing includes a twin room with two full beds in navy gingham-check linens, a yellow-green upholstered bench, vivid abstract canvases on the walls, and a peaked dark wood beam-and-rafter ceiling. A further bedroom has a queen bed with an orange woven throw, a wicker globe pendant light, and framed colorful artwork throughout.

Bathrooms vary throughout the compound. One has dark stone-look wall tiles, a carved granite vessel sink, and a woven-bead pendant light. A second has honey travertine wall tiles, a rectangular white vessel sink on a stone counter, and framed folk-art paintings on the wall. Upper-level balconies accessible from several suites have teak benches, colorful hanging egg chairs, and views into the thatched roof canopy.

Villa Estrella is within Puntacana Resort in Punta Cana, with resort golf, spa, and beach access available to guests.
