Luxury Villa Rentals in the Dominican Republic
Every villa we have in the Dominican Republic is in Punta Cana, right out on the eastern tip, where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic. That's 39 houses, almost all of them inside two gated communities, Puntacana Resort and Club and Cap Cana. Four to eleven bedrooms each. They suit families and groups who'd sooner share a pool than a hotel corridor.

When to go
It's warm all year. So the choice is really dry weather or quieter weeks. December to April is drier, and busier. Later it gets humid, with quick showers in the afternoon. Hurricane season runs 1 June to 30 November.
Before you go
What guests ask us most before a stay in the Dominican Republic.
Where are your villas in the Dominican Republic?
Only in Punta Cana for now, all 39 of them. Thirty-one are in Puntacana Resort and Club, spread across Tortuga Bay, Hacienda, Corales, La Cana and other streets of the resort. Seven are a little further south in Cap Cana, near the marina, and one is north of the airport, in Bávaro. Four or five bedrooms is typical. Eight villas have eight bedrooms or more.
How do we get there (airport and transfer times)?
Into Punta Cana International Airport. It's right next to Puntacana Resort and Club, and most villas there are around 10 minutes from the terminal by car. Cap Cana is further south, around 15 to 20 minutes. There are direct flights from North America and Europe. Send us your flight times and we'll tell you what to expect on the day.
When is the best time to visit?
If you want it dry, December to April. Everyone else knows that too, so Christmas, New Year and Easter go early. We have a soft spot for May. The sea's warm, showers tend to pass quickly, and there's more room on the sand. Late summer and autumn are wetter. That's the middle of hurricane season.
Should we worry about hurricane season?
Plan for it, don't worry about it. Officially the Atlantic season is 1 June to 30 November. The National Hurricane Center puts the peak around 10 September, with most storms between mid-August and mid-October. Lots of weeks go by with nothing. Travelling then? Watch the forecast, get travel insurance, and ask us what each villa's terms say.
How is a stay arranged with your team?
Tell us your dates, how many of you there are, and what the week's for: golf, the beach, a big birthday. One person on our team checks which villas are free and talks you through them. No checkout page. Once you've picked, we agree the terms with you directly and stay in touch until you fly home.
Planning a stay in the Dominican Republic?
Send us your dates and who's coming. Golf week or beach week? Say which, and we'll come back with villas.
