Villa Guanin is a villa inside Cap Cana in Punta Cana, built around a large circular thatched palapa that serves as the main outdoor living room. The palapa is fully open on all sides with a curved built-in plaster sectional sofa wrapping around a round travertine coffee table at its center, a ceiling fan at the apex of the thatch, and a hanging black egg chair positioned at the edge looking out to the pool and lawn. The pool is kidney-shaped and sits on a cream travertine terrace with a wide green lawn running along one side. The pool terrace connects directly to the palapa, so the transition from lounge to water is a few steps.

The main house is two-story white stucco with dark wood-framed upper balconies and thatched overhangs above the ground-level covered walkways. The architecture mixes modern white geometric forms with traditional tropical elements throughout. Stone paver paths wind through a dense garden of coconut palms, plumeria, and tropical shrubs connecting the house volume to the pool area. A large circular covered arrival canopy with curved wood beams and a brick paver floor marks the entry approach.

The primary bathroom is one of the more considered rooms in the property. A long dark teak floating vanity holds two round vessel sinks on a continuous counter, lit by a horizontal bar fixture above a full-width rectangular mirror. Cream coral-stone tile covers the walls from floor to ceiling. A walk-in closet opens through a wood-framed door to one side, and a glass-enclosed shower is visible in the mirror's reflection. A teak bath bench sits in the corner, and woven rattan shell art hangs on the wall above it.

Each bedroom accesses the garden, pool, or upper balcony, and the layout keeps the six rooms spread far enough apart that large groups maintain privacy without retreating to a single wing. Bathrooms carry the same stone tile and dark wood vanity palette as the primary.
