Villa Canaveral

Villa Canaveral is a single-story villa set inside Puntacana Resort and Club, a gated residential community in Punta Cana surrounded by tropical gardens, golf fairways, and a dense canopy of royal and coconut palms. The villa is organized around a central open-air corridor of limestone columns that frames a garden pathway leading to the pool, visible from the entry through a sequence of arched openings. Four bedrooms, four-plus bathrooms, sleeps ten, and is available to book through The Luxury Rental.

The entry passage is a vaulted covered loggia with dark-stained wood ceiling planks and an iron lantern chandelier fitted with multiple bulbs hanging at the center. Dark mahogany louvered shutters flank both sides. A cushioned iron daybed with leaf-print and wicker-toned pillows sits to one side, and a large hammered metal urn on a console stands opposite. The stone columns frame a straight-line garden vista through to the pool beyond.

The outdoor kitchen and rancho sit beneath a steep thatched palm-leaf roof supported by carved dark wood posts. A long solid wood dining table with cane-back chairs fills the center, and the garden around it is planted densely with banana palms, ferns, and flowering tropical shrubs. The pool is rectangular with light blue water set into a travertine deck, with a separate raised thatched palapa pavilion at the garden edge.

The living room has high ceilings with a double-height open volume, dark-framed louvered windows and French doors on multiple walls, and dark mahogany wood trim throughout. Taupe linen sofas, a dark lacquered coffee table, and a pair of striped armchairs are arranged around a woven rug. A ceiling fan with wide wooden blades hangs at the center.

The kitchen has dark espresso-toned wood cabinetry with honey-gold granite countertops, a gas range, a stainless steel refrigerator, and a central island with two wicker bar stools. Guest bedrooms have twin-bed configurations with diamond-lattice carved dark wood headboards, aqua-toned bedding with striped bench seat at the foot, yellow tropical-print curtains, and French doors opening to the garden.
