Saline Villa Rentals in St Barts
Saline is the south-east corner of St Barts, behind Grande Saline, a wide beach of open sand reached over low dunes past the old salt ponds. Nothing is built on it and there is no shade. One large villa here sleeps up to 12. A Saline villa rental suits a big group or family who want space, quiet and one of the island's best-loved beaches close by.

Before you go
What guests ask us most before a stay in Saline.
Is there shade on Grande Saline beach?
No, there is no natural shade on Grande Saline. The beach is open sand behind low dunes, with no trees, parasols or kiosks. Bring a parasol, plenty of water and sun protection, and go early or late in the day. The walk from the parking area over the dunes takes five to ten minutes.
Is Saline good for swimming?
Yes, usually. The beach faces south, the water is clear and the sand shelves into the sea. Because it is open to the wind, some days bring waves, and there is no lifeguard, so keep an eye on children. Calm mornings are the best time for a swim.
How far is Saline from Saint-Jean and Gustavia?
Saint-Jean is around five minutes from Saline by car, and Gustavia around ten. The roads cross the middle of the island and are steep in places. Lorient and Gouverneur are also within a short drive for a change of beach.
