Corossol Villa Rentals in St Barts
Corossol is a fishing village on the west coast of St Barts, a few minutes north of Gustavia. Boats are pulled up on its brown-sand beach beside lobster pots, and some of the village women still plait hats and baskets from latanier palm leaves, a craft handed down through island families. A Corossol villa rental puts you in one of the most traditional corners of the island, close to town.

Before you go
What guests ask us most before a stay in Corossol.
How far is Corossol from Gustavia?
Very close: Corossol is about two kilometres north-west of Gustavia, a few minutes by car. The road winds over the hill and down into the village. Shell Beach, Gustavia harbour and the town's shops are all a short drive away, and so is Flamands, on the north-west coast.
Is there a beach in Corossol?
Yes, a short beach of brown sand in the middle of the village bay. It is a working beach, with fishing boats drawn up on it, and island families swim there. It is a place for a quiet dip rather than a long beach day; for white sand, Flamands is a short drive away.
What is Corossol known for?
Corossol is known as the island's traditional fishing village and for its straw work. Women in the village still plait hats, baskets and other pieces from dried latanier palm leaves, and many sell them from their homes. The village also holds a yearly festival, one of the highlights of island life.
