Villa Di Legnu sits within a private domain of four villas at Palombaggia, on the southern tip of Corsica. All four buildings were constructed entirely in red cedar, following the architectural tradition of the nearby Sperone golf course residences, and the natural grain of the wood is visible across every facade and exterior detail. The house is arranged around a central living room of eighty square metres with a fireplace at one end that anchors the main floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with a central island and an adjoining laundry room. Six bedrooms have private bathrooms in the standard layout; the seventh is a dormitory-fitted room with six beds, which makes the house well suited to multigenerational groups or large families who need flexible sleeping arrangements.

The outdoor terrace extends across more than two hundred square metres of IPE hardwood decking with a pergola running its full length. The infinity pool measures twelve metres by six and sits at the edge of the view, with the Palombaggia bay and the islands beyond. Sun beds and shade are arranged on both sides of the pool. The property takes up to sixteen guests.

Palombaggia beach is eight minutes on foot through the maquis from the property gate. The sand is fine and pale, the water runs clear to a deep blue offshore, and the pine trees come down to the southern end of the beach to provide shade. Santa Giulia, a wider and more sheltered bay, is ten minutes by car in the other direction. The departure point for day trips to the Lavezzi island nature reserve and the Sperone golf course are both about thirty minutes south.

Porto Vecchio, ten minutes by car, has a harbour market, provisioning shops, fish landed daily at the port, and a cluster of restaurants and bars in the Genoese upper town. The Corsican interior, with the forest roads through the Ospedale range and the stone villages of the Alta Rocca plateau, is within an hour in the direction of the mountains.

The combination of direct beach access, the cedar architecture, and the panoramic view over Palombaggia to Sardinia makes Villa Di Legnu one of the more unusual properties on the south coast.
