Villa Maestru is an architect-designed house of four hundred and sixty square metres set above the bay of Saint-Cyprien on the southern coast of Corsica. The building was designed across a series of half-levels to work with the slope of the plot, and the main living spaces sit at the level where the view opens widest: a hundred and eighty degrees across the Porto-Vecchio bay, the bay of Saint-Cyprien, and the Genoese tower of Pinarello at the far eastern point. The land runs to two thousand square metres of garden and terrace, and the beach at Saint-Cyprien is accessible on foot, and is available to book through The Luxury Rental.

The interior is organized around a central living room with a fireplace, which anchors the main half-level and connects directly to the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with a separate scullery, a wine cellar, and a dedicated air-conditioned pantry storage room. All six bedrooms are distributed across the upper levels of the half-level structure, each with its own private bathroom and WC. The house is fully air-conditioned throughout.

The outdoor space centres on the pool terrace, which faces the bay and is surrounded by a large wooden decking platform. A seating and aperitif area sits alongside the pool in direct view of the water. At this orientation, the terrace holds direct sun from mid-morning through to after seven in the evening. The pool is large enough for proper swimming.

Porto-Vecchio is ten kilometres from the house, about fifteen minutes by car. The town has a covered market, provisioning shops, a fish market open most mornings, and restaurants along the old harbour. Figari airport, the closest terminal for European routes into the south of the island, is forty kilometres away. The golf course at Bonifacio, set above the Bonifacio strait with views toward Sardinia, is forty kilometres to the south.

Service is managed by The Luxury Rental. The team coordinates private chef bookings, daily or weekly housekeeping, transfers from Figari, and boat hire from the Porto Vecchio marina. The house comfortably accommodates twelve guests, and the kitchen and dining arrangement is well configured for groups who prefer to eat in most evenings.

This stretch of Corsica holds a particularly high density of good beaches within a short radius. The south-facing bays between Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio are among the most sheltered on the island, with fine sand and water that runs clear even in high summer. Some of the smaller coves along this coast are accessible only by boat, and a day trip out to the Lavezzi islands from the marina is straightforward in settled weather.

Villa Maestru is one of the larger private houses in this part of the south coast, and the half-level architecture creates distinct zones within it that a group of twelve can occupy simultaneously without each space feeling crowded. The view from the pool terrace in the late afternoon, when the light flattens across the bay and the tower of Pinarello is silhouetted against the water, is one of the notable qualities of this particular site.
